Choose what to protect

Choose a scope#

In Advanced / Files & functions, select a folder, file or function.

• Inherit: follow the parent settings.
• Include: protect this code.
• Exclude: keep it unchanged.
• Reset: remove your custom choice.

Folder rules apply throughout the folder. Excluded contents stay excluded.

Fine-tune a feature#

Set individual protections to inherit, on, off or required. File finishing cannot be required per function.

Required stops unsupported builds.

Changed functions#

After code changes, rescan and update outdated rules.

Save or share#

Save or export a policy file. Keep passwords and private values out.
