Protect your first app in five steps.

Your first build#

1. Create an account and verify your email.
2. Choose a plan in Billing.
3. Create a project and upload your app's ZIP.
4. Choose Balanced, then Protect.
5. Download the ZIP and run your app's tests.

Scanning does not use your build allowance.

What to upload#

ZIP your finished JavaScript app and assets. Build TypeScript, JSX and frameworks first.

Leave out passwords, .env, dependencies and source maps. See the upload guide.

Make a small change#

If something breaks, exclude it in Advanced / Files & functions and rebuild. Excluded code stays unchanged.
